The material on Snorri Helgason’s first solo album is a mixture of urban folk, indie-pop, rock and soul music.
Snorri was listening to a lot of old blues and folk but also a lot of glam-rock and soul during the writing, recording and making of the album. That combination makes up an interesting melting pot of genres and influences that give it a unique quality and style.
IGPMNOYD has been critically very well received and Snorri’s live shows, whether playing solo or with a full band, have gone down extremely well.
